What is ub40 members?

UB40 is a British reggae/pop band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band's name is derived from a form used by the UK government for unemployment benefits, which many of the band members were receiving at the time of formation.

The original UB40 lineup consisted of eight members: Robin Campbell, Ali Campbell, Brian Travers, Jimmy Brown, Earl Falconer, Norman Hassan, Mickey Virtue, and Astro. Ali Campbell was the lead vocalist for the group, known for his distinctive voice.

Over the years, there have been lineup changes in UB40. Ali Campbell left the band in 2008 and Mickey Virtue departed in 2014. Duncan Campbell, Ali's brother, then took over as the lead vocalist. Astro also briefly left the band but rejoined in 2014.

Throughout their career, UB40 has released numerous hit songs, including "Red Red Wine," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and "I Got You Babe." They have sold over 70 million records worldwide and continue to tour and perform to this day.
